By deconstructing and reconstructing an object, you learn to view it from a fresh perspective, leading to innovative design solutions. The process involves meticulous documentation, experimentation, and presentation, culminating in a class exhibition where your peers will engage with and critique your work.

Project Details

1. Identification:

Select an easily transportable object to work with.

2. Extended Inspection & Analysis:

Deconstruct the object into its composite parts.
Analyze and sketch these parts, focusing on physical attributes, not functionality.
Use techniques like semantic satiation to view the object as meaningless sounds.
Document the process using photography, sketches, and models.

Reassemble the deconstructed elements into a completely new object.
